Over the past months, I have had many people tell me what they thought I was going to have. Some would look over my body and say....."umm, a girl or ummm, a boy". They would guess depending on symptoms, what my mom had or the Chinese calendar to tell me what I was having. Before we went in to find out what we were having, I asked people what they thought it would be. Gregory thought it was a girl and I thought it was a boy. On this day, Greg's mother was flying in for the week and we would tell her what we were having once she arrived. We went to the visit and found out! The ultrasound was amazing......they measured everything on her and then we got to see her moving around. It was beautiful! She was pulling her feet up by her ears and playing with her toes. Just so cute!! So we got the pictures from the ultrasound and put them in a "Grandma's brag book" for his mother. Gregory called me to get me to come home sooner because his mother couldn't wait any longer! We took this brag book over to Kristin's and handed her a gift bag! There is one thing you should know....if you ever want a great reaction to gifts or any good news......Mrs. Hudgens is the one to go to! She came running out the front door screaming "what is it, what is it?" We handed her the bag and she started opening it, then stopped and screamed more! Once out of the bag she removed the tissue paper and screamed at the pink on the "brag book". Mrs. Hudgens wins the "Best Reaction Award"!!
So this little bundle of joy will be named after both of her grandmother's -

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down!!!!
So, I'm about 27 weeks now! The Lord has blessed me during this pregnancy and I am grateful for it! I have not been sick nor have I had many difficulties. Well, I mean, I have had some "back pain"......translation "i need a back rub!" but that is about it. A few headaches here and there and indigestion but as for MAJOR issues, none here. I must give praise to the Lord....I think He spared me from those "issues" due to my low tolerance for pain. Yeah, we aren't thinking about the whole "how does this baby arrive?". Well, I have been trying to continue to do some type of athletic exercise but some days I just "forget". (I have been told pregnancy makes you forgetful at times :) ) This particular morning I felt like one of those weeble wobbles. I was trying to swim and something was not working for me! When I would turn to breathe I felt my whole body rolling to one side - almost like it wasn't going to turn back over. I was thinking I would just roll right onto my back. I would take a breath and then back over....then to the other side! I am sure the lifeguard on duty was finding this sight something to chuckle about! But after it was all said and done, I got a great workout!!

"wearehavingababyit'sa..............."
For the past 15 weeks, I have felt pretty good. A little indigestion at times and a little tiredness to go along but overall, I've felt great! It was 3days before Mother's Day that we decided to take a test. After being a few weeks late.......well, a test might be a good thing to take and it said "We are having a baby!" I did take a previous test but apparently the device was much more complicated than I anticipated and it read "SEE LEAFLETTE" - not something you want to see at this point. Who knew those little devices could be so complicated! (Well, actually they aren't but I had a hard time with it!) When the test came back positive, Greg proceeded to throw himself on the floor and flail around! He was so excited and wanted to tell someone, so he called his mother and father. They were at a St Louis Cardinals game and Greg asked his mother if she would be able to come and stay with us around New Year's. There was a moment of silence and then screaming! Good thing she was at a Cardinals game and other's around her were screaming as well. I told one of my sister's and grandmother by telling my nephew to tell them he was going to have a cousin. He then said "I don't have any cousins", my sister looked at me and said "are you really?" So, this little "peanut" will arrive New Year's Eve (hopefully before) but if not we will have one great new years to celebrate. I'll keep you posted on the next weeks!
Our Homes
Lately my life has been full of changes....and most have been for the good! We moved into our new home the first of June and have been getting the house together ever since. Before we moved I was able to spend some time with two of my best friends who offered to spend and evening painting with me. It's amazing how friendships can turn out. I meet both of the girl's in elementary school and through the years we have kept in touch. But the amazing part is how much "at home" I feel when i am around them. The bond is something i can't explain. All I know is that I LOVE being around them. They are both unique in their own ways and the ways in which they make me laugh. We successfully painted my den, foyer and dining room that evening. To say the least, I still have painting to do! So, if you need some great help with painting I know 2 excellent painters :) Our home continues to need paint on the walls, decorations put in place and rugs on the floors but we have time for that to take place. Meanwhile, our "2nd home across town" is still on the market. The offer that was placed on it fell through therefore we are still waiting (patiently) to sell the house. So that's what is going on with our home or should I say HOMES. I do LOVE my new house and can't wait to continue to "get it ready". If you should ever be in the area, we would love for you to come and visit.

Not really an April Fools!!
Over the past few years I have had some "april fools" jokes pulled on me, mainly by the teenage soccer team! One April Fools I arrived at a soccer game to find the girls already warming up for the game. As I looked around the field, I saw a number of posters attached to the fence surrounding the field. I thought to myself, 'wow, that's pretty impressive.....they decided to find a way to get excited about a game'. Much to my dismay, the posters included a number of sayings toward me getting a date! They included "The Lauren Eudy love run....lots of lovin' til the last mile" - "Single white female in search of athletic single male" - "For a good time call - (and then the number)". Those little high schools girls are quite creative!
So this year, I was wondering what might take place! At 7:30 am I received a call from my pregnant sister who told me she was going into labor! Well, this wasn't an April Fool's joke.....she was actually going to have the 2nd little love of my heart! The family all gathered at the hospital and at 2:30 - Little Emma Reese was born. Mary Beth named her after my mom "Emma Theresa". So from now on we will have a special birthday to celebrate every year on April Fool's Day!!

sorry so long
It's been a while since I have written anything. During this time a few things have come about including a possible new house, selling the house we have and soccer season. We decided at the beginning of January to look into buying another home and selling ours. Greg wanted to live closer to town, his family and work. We found a cute little bungalow style home in Forest Acres (downtown Columbia). It's convinent to both of our jobs, church and the tennis courts Greg and William play on~! That was a much added bonus for Greg! We should be closing on the house in 90 days (from some date in january) if all goes well!
FINALLY, all the wallpaper in our home is gone! It was dreadfull! We've finished painting and are just waiting for our home to sell! Elizabeth's (my sister - in - law) dad is the agent we are using for both homes!

Soocer season started the 4th of January as well. The past three years I knew what kind of team I would have but this year was wide open. We started off losing the first 5 scrimmages but last weekend we won 2 games and then won our season opener on Tuesday! It was good for the girls to get those wins ~ and for me to keep my sanity! I've got a great group of girls this year (23 in all) which is something else. Each year katie and I have them all over for a slumber party/team bonding. (katie coaches with me she's 25) We sent them on a scavenger hunt, ate dinner at Monterrey's then had a craft time. After craft time, it turned into a dance off! Yep, 23 - 14,15,16 year old girls in one house. I can truly say that I have learned so much about life through coaching - it is definitely something the Lord wants me to be involved with. I forgot how hard high school is and never realized how decisions in high school affect the rest of your life!
So, right now I'm coaching, working and trying to sell my house! Hind sight says to not try to all these at one time! Note to self for the future! That's about all right now....i'll try to write more often! Until next time......
